Although the overall economic benefits cannot be accurately assessed yet, B.B.N.P. recorded a year-to year rise of its beer export to the USA by 58 % throughout the first six months of 2007.
“We are very satisfied to have accomplished such positive results. Within the first six months of 2007, the export of Czechvar Pale Lager to the USA increased a year-to year by the mentioned 58 %, which exceeded our expectations,” B.B.N.P.’s business manager Robert Chrt comments upon the business results, adding: “Our partners have been working hard on the promotion and further sales increase of Czechvar. The 2007 final results are expected to be very good as well.” Czechvar is sold mostly in six-packs of 0.33 litre bottles in the USA. Nonetheless, the amount of restaurants offering draught Czechvar began to also rise, increasing thus the keg Czechvar sales by 32 % in the first half of the year, which is higher than its total overall 2006 sales.
This March, the Czechvar beer brand was chosen as one of the new key products promoted by the ABI at its annual business conference in New Orleans. Over 6,000 beverage wholesalers from throughout the USA took part as well as 3 managers from B.B.N.P. “As I heard directly from other conference participants, the public acceptance of our beer is very favourable, particularly due to its smooth flavour,” B.B.N.P.’s business manager Robert Chrt reflects on the impressions from the conference.
