The contract with the Anheuser-Busch Inc. concerning the distribution of Czechvar beer has been proving productive

České Budějovice, 16th July 2007 – B.B.N.P.’s commenced cooperation with the key player on the American market - the Anheuser-Busch Inc., took effect with considerable sales increase of pale lager, which is sold in the USA under the Czechvar trademark. Although the overall economic benefits cannot be accurately assessed yet, B.B.N.P. recorded a year-to year rise of its beer export to the USA by 58 % throughout the first six months of 2007.

ANHEUSER-BUSCH AND CZECH BREWER BUDEJOVICKY BUDVAR FORM HISTORIC ALLIANCE IN U.S. MARKET

ST. LOUIS/ ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE (Jan. 8, 2007) – After nearly a century of disagreements in certain parts of the world over rights to the Budweiser name for their beers, Anheuser-Busch and Czech brewer Budejovicky Budvar (BBNP) have formed an historic alliance in which Anheuser-Busch will become the U.S. importer of Czechvar Premium Czech Lager, the two brewers jointly announced today.
